2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

I thought I read all the pages to this, but did I miss the venue for the game? Or are we still looking?

Thanks.

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

The presumed location is St. Thomas. goldy_331 can provide an update, if any. But we were holding off on booking the ice until we had preliminary results from the registration process.

Quite honestly, we're still a few players short of having a game. Ultimately I'm comfortable we'll have enough to play. But it's no longer clear that we'll need two hours. If the number of players winds being in the teens, even an hour might be enough.

Stay tuned.

St. Thomas Academy. There is a difference between St. Thomas and St. Thomas Academy :)

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

I assumed UST played somewhere different!

It's called just "Saint Thomas Ice Arena" for a reason. The ice also gives it away. ;)

Yes, I realize that there technically isn't ice in the photo.

Upgrading, I presume. Are you now definite, or merely probable?

Much closer to definite. I have enough time in advance to be able to be free from work and home (my wife does catering a lot Thur-Sun) that the kids will be watched that Sat. More than anything just looking forward to meeting some folks as much as actually skating.

I could recruit some people when we get closer. I know plenty of pick up players, most of the college hockey fans to one degree or another. Heck, it's how I know WPOS, and became acquainted with goldy_331, for that matter.

2011 USCHO Posters' Game
St. Paul, Minnesota
Saturday, April 9th

(Tentative Start Time: 12:00 Noon)

Registration Is Now Open!

Don't miss the 10th Annual USCHO Posters' Game. A good time is always had by all.

Registration is two part process. First, reply to this thread. Indicate whether you are definite, probable or possible for the game. If you don't know which to choose, describe your situation and we'll categorize it. Then list your preferred position; meaning center, wing, defense or goalie. You may also sign-up to serve in an off-ice capacity. Creative posts are encouraged, but do include the necessary info.;)

Second, please e-mail the following information to bostonewe@gmail.com:

1. Screen Name
2. Real Name
3. E-Mail Address
4. T-Shirt Size
5. Hockey Position
6. Favorite Team(s)
7. Status For 2011 Game: Definite, Probable or Possible

It's time to man-up or woman-up, as the case may be!

Important: Registering is not a binding commitment. We are just assembling a list of all those who have an interest in the event.

More Players Needed!
I am a probably. I prefer D but whatever works. Oh and why isn't DHG on your list yet? I am pretty sure him and his ego reserved a spot months ago.

Dude, you're supposed to send that info in an email to bostonewe. Nobody was looking for people to splash their name and email on the forum. Well, except for Ralph Baer.
