2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Dude, you're supposed to send that info in an email to bostonewe. Nobody was looking for people to splash their name and email on the forum. Well, except for Ralph Baer.

He's a Fooper. Only smart thing he ever did in his life was marry melmac. ;)

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Apologies to those who emailed me over the weekend -- just got back to everyone.
FTR - I do not have emails from Con or Slap Shot.

Yager - not sure who DHG is, shoot me an email or have him/her shoot me an email.

2011 USCHO Posters' Game
St. Paul, Minnesota

ON-LINE ROSTER
Third Edition
*** This version of the list is no longer being updated. Please see Post #394. ***

Nice uptick in registrations this time! But keep them coming. Obviously there's still plenty of room.

Again, I will update this post as new registrations come in. Then, roughly once a week until the FF, I'll post a new edition. This will have the effect of keeping the roster page front and center on the thread.

The current list:

Definitely Playing
1. goldy_331
2. pyschoairiq
3. Greyeagle
4. St. Clown
5. XYZ
6. MavBoni Pilot
7. Evilgoalie (Goalie)(Need E-Mail Registration)
8. Green Submarine
9. Wol4ine
10. alfablue
11. biddco
12. Slap Shot
13. con1977 (Need E-mail Registration)
14. HuskyNation
15. Flashy Man (Goalie)

6. wolverine Trumpet

Possible
1. big blue_dl
2. brianvf
3. Larch
4. kdilks
5. HumRsky
6. techcodemonkey
7. JohnnyRedShoes

Once again, note that you need to register with bostonewe as well as posting your intentions. Understood that there is some duplication in the procedure. But as St. Clown notes, this is done precisely so that there's no need to put personal information on the board!

Off-Ice
1. Brenthoven (Photographer)
2. melmac (Fan; Possible Scorekeeper)
3. the brain (Possible Videographer)
4. bostonewe (Organizer)
5. pgb-ohio (Organizer)
6. nmupiccdiva (Journalist/Off-Ice Support)

If you'd like to change categories, please post.

With 14 definite, 12 possible to probable, and more available from pick-up pools as needed, I will go ahead and book ice now. I'm willing to take that risk with those odds.

Opinions on 60-90-120 minutes of ice? I'm leaning towards minimum 90 so we have time for photos and shoot-out with 120 likely.

I could have sworn I saw that wolvereneTrumpet might play.... But I think she's busy with work to post much.

It was reported earlier that 120 minutes might be had for the price of 90, IIRC. If so, take the 120! Perhaps it was XYZ who did that legwork?

Game On! Given the uptick in registrations, I agree it's time to move forward. Definites + Probables will give you a rough estimate of your final count. Odds are that a couple of probables won't be able to make it. But most likely they will be replaced by a pleasant surprise or two from the possibles list. Also, the FF participant schools may give you some late adds.

Yeah, I've got the info right here. goldy, shoot me an email if you need it, but the crux of it was $195/90mins and he said he'd run it out to two hours for the same cost. Payment desired roughly a month before which would be...about now.

As mentioned above, he is Drunk Hockey Guy. A Duluth fan. Don't put him on the list unless you talked to him. I have no idea if he is actually coming.

And I don't think Con knows what email is... he looks like he barely discovered the internet.

I'll shift him down to Possible for now. All Possible means is that an interest has been expressed.

I wouldn't get your hopes up with a possibility. He probably doesn't have the slightest clue this is being organized. Even if he did I highly doubt he would attend.

"If dogs are there some how yes. If not we will be in Iowa for broomball"

So... delete it, sharpie it out, burn it, etc. There is no chance that he will be there.

Just a slight little shift from Post #335, eh?:D

No worries. Deletion will be sufficient. Appreciate that you set the record straight.

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Well, at least we didn't reserve a separate playing slot for DHG's ego, so we did get half the joke.;)

Work? What is this work you speak of? Unemployment is fun...except for wasting time at interviews only to hear the evil "automotive experience" over and over. Hmm....maybe I should get some interviews out in MN for the week of the Frozen Four...or not.

I'm highly probable for the posters game.
