Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Just another reason why Hockey shouldn't be played south of the Mason-Dixon Line. At least he didn't get caught out of position like Letestu.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

What do Carolina, Dallas, and Tampa have in common that Boston, Montreal, and Toronto don't?

Hardware without dust.

Just sayin' :D

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

I'm surprised Toronto still has banners, after Harold Ballard tried to burn them in the incinerator once upon a time.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Don't bother cleaning Toronto's. They were left behind inside Maple Leaf Gardens and rotted away years ago. :D

(sorry SteveP :o)

Sticks and stones, my boy, sticks and stones. :p

Besides, I'm on too much of a Guy buzz today to really care about my team, other than Gadowsky suited up for the St. John's Maple Leafs in 92-93 --- THE YEAR THE LEAFS SHOULD HAVE BEATEN MONTREAL FOR THE CUP!!! Thanks Kerry!

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Goddammitsomuch.

Between the Genoe 190 footer, the Conner failshot, and John Scott being John Scott, Tech has to be the most humiliated program in all of hockey in 2011.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Seriously, how could Conner blow that? THAT WAS HIS BREAD AND BUTTER AT TECH! Camp the blue line on the PK, catch errant pass, take off like a shot, deposit in back of opposing net. He was good for one or two of those a farking weekend.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Thanks for playing, Tampa and Pittsburgh. Barring serious goaltending heroics, may the winner of Game 7 enjoy their second-round exit.
