Thornton was doubly ****ed about that high stick because he got nailed in the face in the first period like a porn star and the refs completely missed it.
2-1 after two, 29-18 shots, breaking a 6 period streak of 15+ shots on net by the Sharks, which hadn't been done since the 1983-84 Oilers.

The Vs announcers trashing Luuuuu's comment about "He (Schnieder) is just as good as I am." Uh, do they want Luuuuuuuu to throw his teammate under a bus, so they can trash him for that? I think Luuuuuuu said the right things. Even if he says (like the announcers wanted him to say) "Put me in, I want to be in the game as a starter", they'd rip him for being a spotlight hog.
As bad as Luuuuuu choked the last couple games, he's getting undeserved criticism.
