Also, Bettman is looking at a fairly radical realignment plan for next year:
2 divisions in each conference, with 7 teams in one conference and 8 teams in the other, with the top 4 in each division making the playoffs.
Do not like.
The Bruins open at home with the Flyers on 10.6.11.
I will be there to watch them raise the banner, assuming tickets aren't absurd. I'd pay decent money, but no more than $70 per ticket. I know it'll be pricey for a few reasons, A, it's the Flyers, B, its the Season/Home opener, and C, they are raising a banner.
...But hopefully it's not absurd and I can either get them for Face via the ticket office, or through StubHub/Craig's List/eBay for close to face.
And I really like the Predators new look.

You think you can find a ticket for $70? I thought face value was higher thanthat.

The guitar pick is cool though, especially the Mitsubishi logo in the negative space between the stars.
It's supposed to be a nod to the Tennessee state flag (with the stars representing the different parts of Tennessee). And you picked up on the guitar pick. The morons on Hockeys Future couldn't figure out why the secondary logo was shaped the way it was.
FWIW, I realize Lidstrom is a great player and that +/- doesn't tell the whole story...but how do you win the Norris as a -2?
Ah yes. I forgot what the TN flag looks like.
The Rangers open the season with two games in Stockholm against the Kings, then a game at the Islanders, then a trip out to play at all four teams in Western Canada, then a six-game homestand. That's... odd.
