2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Winnipeg's really dragging this **** out this summer.

It's because it's not going as planned. Coming up with a whole new NHL marketing playbook in three months is tough. Had they not caved to public pressure, all the Moose NHL gear would have been unveiled early this summer.

Somewhere there is a stockroom with Moose jerseys with the NHL shield on them. I'd love to have one of those "mistakes."

I think I like the home darks much more than the away whites, much of that has to do with the sleeve striping. I think the darks are much cleaner looking.

They'll turn up on the backs of African rebels a decade from now. ;) :p

EDIT: Yes, the dark jerseys are definitely better than the whites.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Only complaint is that I wish there was more red in the jerseys, but the home ones look excellent. I hope they do the retro jerseys from time to time.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

I see the Jets kept one tradition from the Thrashers...horrible, horrible looking jerseys.

Meh. Not bad...but not great either.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Meh...certainly don't love it.

Wish there was some sort of writing somewhere. Put Winnipeg Jets in the ring of the seal and I think I like it more.

I don't know when things changed, but the new board really sucks. I have given up trying to post pictures.

When you click "From URL" as where you're taking it from, unclick the retrieve yada yada option before you try to post.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

There are a bunch of tweets coming across that an entire KHL team has been killed in a plane crash. I haven't seen anything on any news sites, just the stuff on Twitter.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

NHL Alums on the team:

Josef Vasicek, Pavol Demitra, Karel Rachunek, Ruslan Salei, Karlis Skrastins and Red Wings goalie prospect Stefan Liv. Brad McCrimmon was the coach.

I do want to say that nobody on this list was necessarily confirmed to be on the aircraft. They are just on the active roster.

Sad, sad stuff.

Former Wings assistant coach Brad McCrimmon may have been on the plane as well. Everyone who called for his head the last two years is going to feel like a dick now.
