Also, great video of Michael Ryder dropping the Cup over at TSN.

Got my Boston Bruins Fathead Jr. in the mail today...great way to spend $50. Comes with all 3 you see pictured and a 4th one seen above the window in the 2nd photo. My dorm walls at school are complete:

I HIGHLY recommend these things. The fullsize (not Jr.) ones are a bit pricier at $90, but the quality on them is so good, the smaller ones that come with the main one are great. They are incredibly easy to put up, and very easy to move with nothing coming off the wall.

That re-draft is intriguing, but stupid. I could do a better job redrafting the Rangers.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Wow. We need to round up all the fighters and get them in a padded room stat.

No kidding. If anyone has read Probert's book, you will understand a little bit better the lifestyle(s) they lead on and off the ice. For example, you can indeed be a total teddy bear off the ice, and a rabid animal on it, and I have to wonder if that takes a toll, flipping that "switch" every time. Plus, nowadays, it's tough to be a true enforcer, given the new rules/style of play. That pressure to perform in other areas besides beating the crap out of someone has to be immense for these guys.

Dustin Byfuglien was booked in Hennepin county last night for boating while intoxicated. Refused a sobriety test, so automatic booking for it. As if that isn't bad enough, he weighed in at a slim 286 pounds. FWIW his roster weight for last season was 245. Credit to GLM: That's a jumbo jet if 286 is the real number.

(Re: Belak)

Humans tend to naturally find patterns when they do not exist... its what we do, trying to extract knowledge for repeated association... it works pretty well for us. That being said, I wonder how much longer we'll go with this before there's some introspection. Are things changing? Do we know more about these incidents? Three recent incidents sounds like a warning sign... or just terrible luck in a run of things. Obviously, those in the trenches will have a better feel for these things... but you can't help but wonder.

Bruins individual game tickets go on sale Friday at 11AM.

I'm going to ATTEMPT to purchase 2 Opening Night tickets, but from what I've heard, there's less than 1,000 still free.
