Oh, Florida.

Always a good strategy to p*ss off your most loyal fans!

If that gentleman was such a "fan" of the team, why isn't he asking to be moved to the new <strike>student section</strike> Panther fan only section? Or since it's just the three sections behind the benches, why not move to the penalty box side?

being a fan of the team doesn't mean you have to take whatever the management group gives you. Those are separate issues.

Agreed, and people have an attachment to "their" seats. My buddy that takes me to the Preds' games has had his pair of seats for their entire existence. Each year he's had the opportunity to move (he's on the defending goal line 2 of 3 periods) and he passes. He's just grown attached to the seats.

Well, went through and got my allotment of Blackhawks tickets this morning... Once again, it appears that all seats have been sold on a Season Ticket basis, with only SRO being available for single game purchase... Ended up getting 3 games:

10/13 vs Jets
10/15 vs Bruins
12/21 vs Canadiens

Those were really the only "must haves" that interested me... The Jets game came as a trade since my buddy couldn't get the Montreal game.... Detroit games were gone by the time I got to them... Bandwagon is still in effect.... I also believe several thousand season tickets are owned by brokers, so we'll see how that plays out as the season progresses... That can be both a benefit or hindrance... Either way, bring on Hockey Season :D

Bets on the first coach to get canned midseason?

I'd go with Ron Wilson, Brent Sutter, or Davis Payne (would betting against a fellow Techie be inappropriate for me? :p).

Wilson if the Leafs get off to a slow start.

Two year extension for Logan Couture, San Jose runner up for the Calder.

2.75 million, then $3 million.
