Tallon is undercover for the Blackhawks.

Edit: Now I'm kind of sad.

The booing of Vancouver was fantastic.
Barely heard the pick over it.

The ****-eating grin on the Vancouver guy as he thanked the host city for their hospitality while he was being booed was even better.

This may be of interest to the Wild and Wings fans:

Canadiens GM Pierre Gauthier was said to be in Friday-night talks with both the Minnesota Wild and Detroit Red Wings about the negotiation rights of defenceman James Wisniewski, an unrestricted free agent as of July 1. Word was that Gauthier might deal those rights in exchange for a second-round pick; Detroit has a second-round selection, Minnesota does not.

That seems like a really high price...which if he gets, I'd be ecstatic.

Well, so much for that.

Doug Hamilton....well played, Bruins.

they needed a stud D for the long term outlook. they got it, after winning a stanley cup.

well played indeed. A good year to be a Bs fan

Don't know if there are any leaf fans on here, but brian burke got fleeced in that deal--and it's not even close. Now, maybe he's building something, but wow, what a horible trade that was.

burke takes some risks, and that makes things exciting. he comes out ahead sometimes, sometimes behind. As a B's fan, I like some of those risks.

Also, bruins in the second round nab a kid who put up great numbers in the OHL in his first season. Another good pickup. He also was in the top tier for scoring in the OHL playoffs. Smaller stature , but you can succeed in todays NHL with his frame. I bet this kid will be good on the 3rd line later on.
