2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Yeah, Morneau's a real Iron Man. Guy couldn't even come to Twins Fest because it was too taxing. I really don't think it's fair to Mauer that he takes so much more **** just because the team goes in the toilet without him while the Twins get exponentially better when Morneau turns a minor injury into a season-ending one.

Concussions are minor now?
Just because it looked like nothing doesn't mean it was, especially when dealing with the brain.
Mauer's leg weakness must be agony by comparison.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I wonder how many concussions Ted Williams had in his career. Oh wait...he hit .400 and fought in World War II and Korea. Ted Williams is a stud. Uhhhh...sunlight gives me a headache! Waaahhhh.

And Mauer is a huge crybaby. I moved furniture for 5 years and never missed a day of work no matter how hurt or tired I was. And I made 12 bucks an hour. The only way he shouldn't be out there is if he's uncontrollably peeing out of his butt (which was the only thing that's kept me from going to work or school in the last 13 years).

And now you have no knees. And you are younger than me. Just sayin'. :P

You don't * with brain stuff:

"Yeah, I lived the rockstar life....of course, I'm 35 now, and have no brain function. Kind of a vegetable. I can sh* my shorts, and say one-syllable words. Maybe remember the convo we had 5 minutes ago. But hey, I made millions, and it was worth it."

It's called "dedication." Maybe Joe doesn't have any. What is this fake "illness" that they came up with? He has to be over that viral infection. And if this so-called "bilateral leg weakness" is still going on, make him DH and we can trade Butera for a box of balls and a rosin bag.

Decent article in the Star Diaper today, with some quotes. I'm not going the Baby Jesus route, but I think he deserves a little more leeway. If a year now costs me 10 years later, if I were him, I dunno if I'd make that trade.

They let him out of his bunker to speak to someone? All I've heard is rumor and hearsay from the TV and radio mooks in town.

In a nutshell, he's pi*ed that he isn't playing, he's pi*ed that people are ripping on him for making TV commercials "when he should have been in training/rehab" (despite shooting the commercials in a week's time, over a course of the whole off season, training equipment/time provided), etc etc.

Basically, you have the haters, the mehs, and the Baby Jesusers, distinctly divided. I'm in the meh. It seems to me (and correct me if I'm wrong) you are now in the hater group.

All I know is that I've worn my Joe Mauer jersey more times in the last 45 days than Joe Mauer has. And NO ONE has any answers. WHY ISN'T JOE MAUER PLAYING BASEBALL???

Because he's injured. Duh. Haven't you read the newspapers?

But what's wrong with him?!? Are his legs STILL sore? Tonight I complained that my left knee is really bothering me (which it is...I have arthritis...I had trouble getting out of my chair tonight). And the guys at work said "maybe you shouldn't be on them so much." Great joke...but maybe someone should say that to Joe.

He discussed that in the article. Said something along the lines of the sped up rehab was too much too soon, and the other leg was trying to cover for the injured leg, and it led to more problems; maybe should have stuck to a more normal rehab sched sorta thing.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Let him sit out all year. He can't save this team at this point.

You peed out of your butt?:eek:

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Brutal. Just brutal. Almost laughable now
It honestly is to the point where the only thing to do is laugh at how absolutely pathetic this team is.

don't act like you haven't..you probably just don't know it, cause it went right in your diaper.;)

Hey, we're only what, 13 games back? we've come back from down 12.5 before!
