2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Baby steps...

Mav...I thought that was out as soon as he hit it. Glad I was wrong...

Same here..and so did Dick and Bert, you could just tell. Bert said something along the lines of, "no worries we've got a fielder there. phew!":p

12.5 games back..here we go!:)

Apparently they were a little ****ed today.
Granted, it was Oakland.

Memo to the Twins: Three game winning streaks are nice except when you follow them up with six or nine game losing streaks.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Like I said, it's Oakland.

We were lucky to miss Oakland's best pitchers, Cahill and Anderson. Their offense is not very good. They were some peoples pick to win the West.

Good momentum for now, hopefully we can take it to Arizona.

How perfect is it that the Twins are playing Arizona the weekend that Killebrews funeral is in Arizona?

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I'll be at the game on Sunday. Flying out to Arizona to visit my sister. Got tickets five rows behind the Twins dugout for dirt cheap.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I'll be impressed when they are above .500.

3 game win streaks do nothing for me when they just lost 9 in a row.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

It would be nice if they hadn't dug themselves a hole the size of an open pit mine.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Although Liriano hasn't been the greatest this season. Looking forward to seeing him take on Daniel Hudson on Sunday.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

It is kind of odd how this all goes down when the Twins were scheduled to be in Arizona regardless. I am sure Harmon was really looking forward to this series. :(

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Well, this game turned to **** in a hurry.

2 out hits are deadly.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Is there anyone on this team that can pitch?

Grand Slam and the Twins blow a 3 run lead in the 8th.
