2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Looks like fundamentals are optional today at Target Field. Each team has an error, and an additional "error" was changed to a hit for Toronto. And the first inning isn't even done yet.

How the hell did Hoey make the team?
Total choke job yet again.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

We couldn't beat a guy who has gone 25 (now 26) consecutive starts without a win.

If nothing else positive comes out of this season, at least we got that awesome Jim Thome commercial. :)

Commercial is great!

Boobirds out in full force at Target Field. Brutal play by Delmon. This is so hard to watch.

Edit: young comes up to bat and is booed again.

Can we just demote the whole franchise to AAA?
Half empty Target Field will soon be a reality.

If Jose Bautista only played against the Twins, he'd still be tied for 10th in the AL in home runs.

Awesome.

So, who's going to save this team next year? The full cupboard looks awfully bare right now.

Delmon should have been booed after that bullcrap.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

What exactly was he doing? Pointing at the ball? This team is absolutely horrendous.

They're only 9.5 back of the Tigers in the wildcard!

I doubt it. That's would mean he could see a ball from 60' 6".

Brutal. Just brutal. Almost laughable now

Heard KFAN was just ripping Mauer today saying that Morneau may be struggling and was sick but at least he's playing through his illness.
Maybe Baby Jesus needs to suck it up a bit.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Its a good thing that the glass catcher chose baseball over football. One blindside hit from an unblocked end would have ended his career.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Yeah, Morneau's a real Iron Man. Guy couldn't even come to Twins Fest because it was too taxing. I really don't think it's fair to Mauer that he takes so much more **** just because the team goes in the toilet without him while the Twins get exponentially better when Morneau turns a minor injury into a season-ending one.

I didn't realize you were Morneau's doctor. Why didn't you share any of this information with us last season?
