Are there fewer openings this year ? It seems the DI commits on Heisenberg's site are down from last years as well.

Then the EJ and NAHL seem nore reluctant than prior years in celebrating their players that are committing DIII, pretty poor, they should be celebrating all their college placements I, II and III.

Ya it's pretty poor that those sites don't update college placements for Diii schools.

Expect the same approach from SNC.
Rumor has it that several new D-1 transfers will be on roster to start the season.

All of them have graduated from high school, some more recently than others.

Any thoughts the effect of the demise of the interlock had on commitments? Will ECAC East Coaches turn to more highly regarded US Jr leagues and Canadian players and shy away from H.S., Prep and the less regarded US Jr leagues?

Those are normally pretty rare in D-III. They pop up every once in awhile. But, I don't remember ever seeing much of them on recruiting lists.

when I was at Oz 87', we would get a few Canton guys every yr good guys who fit right in....
