Really? Thats one of my favorite in cycling!
When LL first was riding with His Yellowness, LA didn't know his name so he'd just look at him and say "Bottle," meaning go get me a bottle.
Wheel sucker, yes, but surely all must tremble in fear now that he is down a minute and must surely attack!
Actually the real darkhorse I see for the podium at this point, and I agree with you about AC and AS, is Basso. His crash on Etna and his abortion of a Dauphine had me doubting his form. Then he got dropped before the bridge the other day, but if he rides into stage 12 only a minute down, he might just grind his way to the podium. Then there is Evans.
As for Bottle, I think he might have gone just a hair too deep to win Suisse. I always thought that Kloeden and Horner were better long term bets for RS...
Super Besse will be interesting.

Major Crash! Wiggins is out with broken collarbone. Horner was last reported to be 3 minutes back and chasing more or less alone. Kloeden is in the front group with AS, AC, Basso, Sanchez, Evans, Gesink, and most of the main favorites. Second group is about 2 minutes down and Bottle just punctured out of that group. The main sprinters all seem to be there.
Edvald Boasson Hagen gets it right today! Wins ahead of Goss and Hushovd. Contador had another tough day with 2 bike changes but was there at the end and helped chase down a late Vandert attack.
Also of note Bottle loses a minute, so Kloeden only has to deal with Horner now for the team lead.
Flat day tomorrow, Cav?
