2011 College Football Part II: Bowls, The Rematch, and Recruiting >Tebow

Re: 2011 College Football Part II: Bowls, The Rematch, and Recruiting >Tebow

Looks normal to me. And I never saw the problem earlier right after the offending post. It has looked fine the whole time. Is it dependent on browser? I use Chrome at home and IE at work, neither have the problem.

Firefox. Begrudgingly. I'm getting ready to dump this dreck of a browser.

I still had the issue with Safari and with Firefox, but I was able to "fix" the issue by putting bronconick on my blocked list. Interesting. Anyways, the obvious topic we should've been talking about:

Honey Badger don't care... about team rules.

I don't get it? Is this supposed to be a racist joke? I usually pick up on those.

I think it's just freaking ugly. I'm assuming their supposed to be turkey feet (or whatever the hell bird a "Hokie" is).

Eh, its not the greatest look out there, but its sure as hell better than that monstrosity that Maryland rolled out last year. *shivers*

Re: 2011 College Football Part II: Bowls, The Rematch, and Recruiting >Tebow

Nah, Maryland's were infinitely better than this chicken foot monstrosity.

Here in DC... yeah... I'm looking forward to referring to VTech as the turkeys.

Maryland's monstrosity at least had a significant meaning beyond "let's make a goofy uniform". For that reason alone, you could consider it a secret success of some kind. There is no secret success to whatever that is on VT's helmet. From where I'm standing, that's a bonafide fiasco.

That's pretty much how I would have said it.

Speaking of Maryland, Ralph Friedgen's continuing to digest the voodoo doll he ate to curse the Terps after they fired him and replaced him with Randy Edsell. CJ Brown destroyed his ACL in a non-contract drill after Edsell had already turned ACC freshman of the year Danny O'Brien into a Wisconsin Badger after one awful season at QB. They'll be running true freshmen at QB after they pulled in the best prospect in the area this last summer in Stefan Diggs...at wide receiver.

Notre Dame outdoes itself with new Shamrock Series uniforms (and not in a good way).

The university and Adidas released the new Shamrock Series uniforms for the Oct. 6 game against Miami at Soldier Field.

There is quite the backlash from fans. Over on facebook I'd say its at least 15-1 against the uniforms (and probably more like 25-1). Those helmets are the worst. They should not mess with the gold. Especially the newer version that is like the exact same gold that is on the dome.
