Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

I'm not even going to watch the LSU -bama game. Whats the point? They'll probably find a way to screw about 4 schools over and have these 2 to play again in January and this game will be completely meaningless.

You probably go into the TV thread and talk about how you don't even own one too.

No, you misunderstand me. I am a casual college football fan, I'll probably watch parts of a couple games on saturday, involving teams I'm interested in. I just have no interest in that particular game.

Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

I'm definitely watching LSU/Bama simply for how awesome each defense is. Huge hits, and great speed and athleticism. It's going to be fun to watch.

I'm just praying for a win tomorrow in Iowa City..

Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

A statement from the Big East commish is coming shortly. I expect them to announce that they added Fairbanks or some Community College in the Aleutians.

Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

Someone elsewhere mentioned San Diego State, at which point the football part of the league should be forcibly put out of its misery.

The Big East is suing West Virginia. Also, Boise State got the go-ahead from the BoE to accept an invite from the Big East. Air Force, SMU, Houston and Central Florida are also expected to receive invitations. BYU might get an invite too.

Let's be accurate here. WVU's suit was first.

And, frankly, the Big East is doing theirs with a far more well-written argument, and a far more solid tort.

Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

Who is at College Gameday with a Sioux hockey jersey waving a University of North Dakota flag?

I would say that it would have good odds of still having legs by then. The trick is going to be getting one of those in on Gameday itself, as you know they've got some poor lackey who's going to have to be scanning the signs to make sure they don't have anything the Network doesn't want to have seen. The trick would be slipping signs pass him having them with something else on them, then unleashing your X>Tebow right when a camera is panning the crowd.
Yeah the "take a sign that says 'Go (insert team name here)' and a marker" method.

Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

I am just not that excited about the LSU- ALA game tonight. Probably because it is and SEC game and I have to work during the game :(
