My second question in my series of random questions since BU is visiting in November:
What is the away fan section? Is it 310A?
I haven't been there in awhile, but I thought it was 311.
In a summer where nothing has really happened Brian Idalski was given a contract extension. There is a good chance that UND will have two UND hockey teams that are national powers.
Good to see UND taking a run at moving its ladies program up to top tier level. Hope you can turn the program into a powerhouse leveraging the Lams while you got em.
Matt Green was on Good Day LA (KTTV) this morning. myfoxla.com If you can make it to LA this evening, he's autographing Kings Stanley Cup DVDs.
I'm going to guess that's not the case, although the news reports surrounding the settlement probably wrote it up something like "UND must switch to a different nickname by" the deadline imposed by the NCAA.
First, I don't think the NCAA cares. Once they got rid of "Sioux", their job was done. Can you imagine the ridicule that would follow an effort by the NCAA to force the University to actually choose a name? Second, if there was a deadline for replacing the name, I don't think the University would be taking the approach it is, which is to set no timeline for the actual selection.
Settlement Agreement said:Paragraph 2, Subsection d: Absence of Namesake Approval....If UND does not adopt a new nickname and logo, or if the transition to a new nickname and logo is not completed prior to August 15, 2011, then UND will be returned to the list of institutions subject to the Policy [NCAA Policy against Native American Nicknames].
FS23, where did your "top 58 programs" thread go?

Looks cool but what is a latch hook?I'm a long time UND fan, and I'll never forget the Sioux nickname.
I started a latch hook project last September, and worked on it mostly on Badger football saturdays and NFL Sundays. Here's how it turned out:
