Nelson was named the Inside College Hockey “WCHA Breakthrough Player Of The Year”

Since Nelson was the most improved player in the WCHA you must be suggesting he should be at least the most improved player in pro hockey next year.

I agree, if he works as hard as he did at UND he could go far in the NHL.

Brock is already on the Soundtigres roster with jersey number 29. Good to see he gets to keep his college jersey number. His next game starts in just a couple hours.

Let's see. Barry Melrose doing color commentary and you obviously had the sound on. Hmmm. Sounds to me like you got off easy if all she decided to do was turn the vacuum on and not resort to the domestic violence you feared. She's a keeper.

Congratulations to Chay. Although the Wild lost, Chay was named 2nd star.

Also good to see a former Sioux captain Dave Tippett coach his team to a Pacific Division championship. Seems like Tippett has the Coyotees playing their best hockey at the end of the season. Phoenix may actually have a chance to get past the first round this year.

Per Hak at Sioux Boosters lunch in Fargo today, he is not optimistic about Dell returning and Kristo is 50/50 with Montreal being in turmoil he may elect to wait until things are settled. He doesn't want to come in under one group and have his fate controled by someone he doesn't know.
He said he has been surprised in the past but those are the only two that he has any indication on as early departures.

With a 300k base, I wonder what his assistants are bringing in. Either way, nice job by UND to hold on to Hakstol. Now, if we don't have #8 by the time this contract is up, we might have some issues. :)

My mom didn't move to Fargo with me seven years ago, Goon. She did move to a condo about seven years ago but it doesn't have a basement.
