2011-12 Schedules

Re: Player Beware!

Re: Player Beware!

Ok some much for PSU, but I would make the trip to the CC to see the USA team, I imagine that would be a sellout for sure

Oswego always tries to plan their exhibition game on Friends and Family weekend which makes it a sellout no matter who they are playing pretty much.

Re: Player Beware!

I believe that Adrian's non-conference is:
Home - USA -18 , Thanksgiving Tourney vs. Eau-Claire then either / St. Thomas - Buffalo State
Away - Geneseo, 2 - Stevens Point

Correct, though I suspect that all tournament games will be set in advance and Adrian will play UWEC and UST regardless of who wins the Friday games.

Adrian v. UWEC should be a good matchup. I expect qUWEC to be in the top half of the NCHA this year.

Family and friends weekend is actually 10/21-23 this year (actual opening weekend vs. Elmira)... pretty good idea, IMO.

First time they've done that since the CC opened. Agreed. Good move. Going to make tickets to that Elmira game extremely difficult.

OK OK all well and Good who we gonna play an exhibition game against?? I can call my buddies on the FDNY hockey team and see if they would be interested:eek::D?? They play the Russian firefighters this sat., and the russian Legends on sunday, they will be joined by Duggay, Greshner, and a few other ex-rangers, thought I'd throw that in there........

Well, my season ticket renewal tells me St. Thomas/Buff St., which leads me to believe that this is going to be a true tournament format.

Confirmed. A change from last year and somewhat interesting as without the win over Hamline, Adrian would likely have been at Elmira in the opening round.

Re: 2011-12 Schedules

Yeah, both Adrian and Hamline lost on that Friday night, so that would have been the consolation game anyway.

I think last year Adrian wanted to assure themselves of playing 2 quality in-region opponents, most likely in it's quest to be viewed as a top western team in the NCAA's eyes. After their run in the tourney last year and the continued improvement of the MCHA, there is probably less of a need for this.

Re: 2011-12 Schedules

Utica better hope they win the league...and don't waste any points against Oswego...the schedule is again laughable. Only 7 (maybe 8) TOTAL road games?? Some great NC games coming to Utica again this year... 14 non conference games, 10 at home?!?!?! But they did resign with powerhouse Westfield State, Salve Regina and added DII power house St.Mikes....

I don't want to hear any whining when Utica is left out, again.

You wont have to worry about anything when we beat these teams.

Re: 2011-12 Schedules

Cape Cod Classic
Round 1 Amherst vs. Salem St and Babson vs. Hobart
Round 2 conso & championship

Re: Player Beware!

Agreed that sounds like a solid field. 3 out of 4 teams are potentially top 15. Good for them, its nice to see good tourneys. Anyone have any info on Utica's Germany trip?
