You really need to come around more often....

Makes me think...what other name could we give Brockport?

The College at Brockport - Yes we still **** at Hockey??

The College at Brockprot - We miss Todd Sheridan :(

Like I've said before, for that pretentious name alone... Oswego and Platty should be allowed to score 10 or more and not be tagged with having No class. :D

Re: Elmira 2011-12 Schedule

I am awake from my hibernation........here is the Bears schedule for this season...

http://www.potsdambears.com/schedule.aspx?path=mhockey

What the heck. They changed/updated their entire website, so all previous bookmarked links do not work without any warning or announcmenet. I hate when schools do that....

Well, at least Potsdam has caught up with eveyone else in modernizing their athletic's site.

Let's hope they modernize that craptacular arena they play hockey at sometime soon.

Re: 2011-12 Schedules

How do you guys rank Manhattanville's overall strength of schedule?

I think its a little bit better this year than in past seasons.

Unfortunately they didn't get any OOC games against a Norwich, Oswego, Plattsburgh, Middlebury, Castleton, Bowdoin etc.

You replace the games against Wesleyan, Conn. College, Cortland and Potsdam with a couple against the above types of teams and then you're really talking.

I think Williams and Curry are two okay teams on their schedule.

Conn College always plays Manhattanville tough too. I still think CC will be a much improved team this year if healthy. Not going to challenge for the NESCAC, but could be a thorn in someones side come decision Sunday (err Monday morning). The Plattsburgh Jr Cardinals, I mean Curry, well....after a full season with half of Plattsburghs reserves they could start to gel. And they are another team that has had decent games with the Valiants....While it would be nice to see Manhatanville play a stronger OOC, the teams above can only have so many NC games....at least they schedule NC games on the road ;) Speaking of which Hockey season kicks off tomrrow when Utica plays Landshut Cannibals in Munich Germany! And No, these games do not count in the FHL

Re: Elmira 2011-12 Schedule

The college is big enough to have its own town name and zip code (Univeristy Park). That is the name of the town where the college's buildings and athletic facilities reside. State College is the name of the town that essentially surrounds University Park.

On campus students live in University Park, PA and off campus students live (for the most part) in State College, PA...
