If you were in my position, you'd watch it on CBC, too. Heck, I'll invite you over to watch it on CBC. It's an open invite. If not, then do what the MacKenzie Brothers do and Take OFF! :D

And Exile, he's raped the league enough already. Puppies wouldn't phase him.

How exactly is it that Wings fans get to claim that Bettman hates them the most? Did none of you watch the '07 finals?

Also: half of the people whining about Bettman and Cindy having a special relationship are going to turn around and claim that he gave Chicago the cup all of next season. Just like how the Ducks were Bettman's team when they won. Or how the Hurricanes were Bettman's team before that. Or how the Devils were Bettman's team when they were winning cups. Or how...

I think his post implied that he'd do the same thing anyone with common sense would...which, like you, is watch it on CBC...:p

MountieBoy - you took it the wrong way. I grew up in Canada and watched HNIC religiously for more than 40 years. I also spent a dozen years working security at Maple Leaf Gardens, and got to know some of the HNIC crew and talent.

As much as I like Doc and Edzo, it's this time of year that I miss Hughson, Cole, McLean, Cherry and everyone else associated with the best hockey coverage on the planet.

Enjoy it -- and I may show up for game 4! I'll bring the Blue! ;)

So, I get the impression that MountieBoyOz is upset that the games aren't all on NBC. Anyone else pick up on that? It's kind of subtle. Sort of like his hatred of Philly, and bizarre notion that the Rangers should have been in the playoffs instead.

I don't (basic cable). 'Ewe doesn't (not in her DishTV package). It's pretty widely available, but not everyone gets it (and, I still maintain there are plenty of casual fans/potential viewers who just don't know they get it).

When ESPN gets the NHL again, I am eagerly looking forward to their NHL intermission show- telling us about Ochocinco's latest tweet, showing a shot of Tiger Woods making out with a mirror during a press conference and detailing the large bed of money and underage hookers that Kobe sleeps in every night.

Also looking forward to hear Stuart Scott yell "BOO-YAH!" during NHL 2nite.

Worth mentioning because either it extends, or it ends: Chicago is 5-0 in one-goal games in the postseason, and 10-0 in games decided by two goals or less.
