Time to give Claude his pinkslip... how can he let his team do this... the Flyers had that extra step all night long. How many times did I have to watch the bruins wait for the puck? Every time they waited for it the Flyers took it... this is embarrassing.

Ever heard of a self fulfilling prohpecy?
Fans support their teams. I wouldn't have minded either team winning this series, the only teams I didn't want to win were detroit, montreal, or vancouver. Everyone else would be nice, especially seeing 2 teams in the finals that haven't won a cup in forever.
The bruins played well in game 4 and game 7. They sucked in game 5 and weren't great but weren't terrible in game 6. It's hockey, when you get two pretty even teams odd things can happen. Sometimes you end up on the good end and other times the bad. In the end you're watching millionaires play a game, it's not worth getting so defeatist over.
Oh wait. I'm a yankee fan that was on this board in 2004.

I feel sorry for fans who haven't yet been smart enough to disown the Bruins, but sadly you should have seen this coming. Its a loser organization committed to losing until Monty Burns sells the team or croaks. They never were that good. They had the benefit of playing notorious playoff chokers Buffalo, and then lucked out in a few OT games. Well, luck runs out after awhile, and skill wins out. Now for the love of God Almighty, will you people stop signing over the deed to your house to Jacobs whenever the team wins 2 games in a row? Want to see pride? Watch the Celtics - an old team who just took down the NBA's best record in 6 games, including two arsewhipping in Cleveland's arena. Now contrast that to these idiots, getting spanked in a game 7 in their home arena when humiliating history is staring them in the face.
