I'm torn between cracking Joe Thornton jokes and wincing because I can compare it to blowing 2-0 and a 2-0 game 3 lead vs. Edmonton in '06 with the entire Western Conference laying open for the taking.

Crowd at the Garden certainly sounded positive when the Bruins were up 3-0.
But, I'm sure it was my post after the second goal that turned things sour for the B's. Somehow, they just knew what I was saying.
And, of course we're fatalistic. That's why none of us thought the Bruins were going to put away the Sabres when the B's lost game 5 (and played poorly). Wait...
(EDIT: What do you think he'd be saying had all the Bruins fans been in here crowing about either of the 3-0 leads, or even boasting that the B's were still going to win, even when things started to break down?)

Of course this doesn't stop me from being a Bruins fan, nothing could stop that. But it's going to be a LONG summer. Very tough to swallow this loss. No way it should've happened after going up 3-0 in the first tonight.

When it comes to sports posts, your negative posts are at something like a 5,000 to 1 ratio against positive or supportive posts. In my opinion, the way you 'cheer' is the antithesis of sports.
But hey if you take enjoyment from it in that way, more power to you.

Seeing as most of the population has long since abandoned the idiot Bruins, I don't see a big problem here. I can't imagine how arrogant the stupid team leadership would have been if they barely pulled this out. I'm sure for the pleasure of watching the team achieve a near unprecedented choke, the B's will raise ticket prices by only 20% next year.

I feel sorry for fans who haven't yet been smart enough to disown the Bruins, but sadly you should have seen this coming. Its a loser organization committed to losing until Monty Burns sells the team or croaks. They never were that good. They had the benefit of playing notorious playoff chokers Buffalo, and then lucked out in a few OT games. Well, luck runs out after awhile, and skill wins out. Now for the love of God Almighty, will you people stop signing over the deed to your house to Jacobs whenever the team wins 2 games in a row? Want to see pride? Watch the Celtics - an old team who just took down the NBA's best record in 6 games, including two arsewhipping in Cleveland's arena. Now contrast that to these idiots, getting spanked in a game 7 in their home arena when humiliating history is staring them in the face.
