From a PWR perspective, that could be good... UConn is the only AHA team, but the team will play 3 from the CCHA (2 different opponents) with at least one opponent from the WCHA. A game with SCSU would give Maine a second WCHA opponent, whereas Cornell would be the only ECAC team on the schedule. CC's collapse down the stretch rendered the December victory meaningless. Considering that UND traditionally starts slow and closes strong, those games could be worth a ton.

The Sunday game against BC doesn't excite me, but at least it isn't in November.

It's not "official" yet. It was circulated to the Friends of Maine Hockey Board without any caution about communicating it outside the board, so I assumed it was public information and I posted it. However, Athletic Department policy is that scheduling information isn't "official" until it has been blessed by a particular level of A.D., and the hockey schedule had not been appropriately blessed. So Laura Reed and Coach Whitehead called me and asked me to delete it, which I did.

The tough OOC schedule was a reference to 2 @ MSU, 2 v UND, and opening the Florida tournament against Miami.
