2010 Division III Commitments

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

Forget about it Aerogroup. There is no debate with a college prof only absolutes. I'm sure he's a nice man but it's his way or the highway. Push him too far and he'll just call you names.;) There is no exchange of ideas on todays college campuses. It's leftist ideology or nothing.

You have no sense of reality or any knowledge of the dynamics of how learning takes place. I am quite willing to listen to informed opinions from other points of view, but they need to be backed up with facts, not talking points (from either side of the issue). Statistics is all about examining the data. If there is a reputable data set to support a different point of view, I'd like to see it. That's what education and learning are all about. Being a knee-jerk conservative or a knee-jerk liberal doesn't promote anything except anger.

And I agree - we now return to our regularly scheduled programming...

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

Jordan Principali - D - Alberta Junior League - Okotoks Oilers - Going to Adrian College

Ross Herog - F - Alberta Junior League - Bonnyville Pontiacs - Going to Castleton College

Great work on the spreadsheet for the western teams.

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

I wish I had specific names but from what I know.
Potsdam is bringing in one goalie,4 forwards and 3 defensemen.
If I am able to obtain specifics I will post accordingly.

Look at the size listings of the D3 west commitments. Pretty small. Size a big factor in players earning division 1 deals?

Unfortuneatly, I think it often is; and unfortuneatly in doing so they miss players that might be small in stature but that play with a huge heart.

....agree and it won't change. Height and weight will be the first thing you hear about a player in any media profile or commentary. That player may have an issue with skating or co-ordination..but if he's a teen, .....6'+ and 180# he's going to have a better chance than the smaller skilled player.
