2010 Division III Commitments

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

If I had any computer skills I would set up a website or a link to see D-III recruits, however I have nothing in my skill set that would allow that to happen.

I was turned on to this site by the D-III commitment listings last year, now we have not nothing but movie talk.

Can any or is anyone able to set something up where we can report D-III commitments?

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

Speaking of the BCHL, that's where Rick Cleaver came from. Yeah, NU does very well with Western Canada. The list of NU greats from Western Canada is long, including NU Women's coach (and former NU Captain and Hall of Famer as a player) Mark Bolding.

Wow! How soon we forget! What about Chad Anderson,Tyler Stitt and Eric Tallent? All played in the SJHL. :D

You left out CJ Viso and Raf Robitaille.....

And before them Chris Fuss, Marshall Lee, Shane Combres,
Ludwar, Ducluzeau, and Herperger.

And Ziga came from the BCHL.....

Great point! Certainly hope they have continued to recruit out West!

Something will get set up sooner or later, don't worry.

It's a long summer.... expect pretty much every thread to delve off topic now and then, but it'll make its way back to recruits eventually.

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

It is rumored that Clarke Saunders, G, Brockville (CJHL) is headed to Norwich. I can't confirm this, but he certainly looks like he could be a good get.

Clarke Saunders - G - Brockville - Signed with Alabamha Huntsville. Norwich looking elsewhere now I guess.

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

The D1 lure is strong, but he would have been better off in Norwich. Alabama Huntsville isn't their league just fading away?:(

Now that the season is over, the word is faded -- past tense. :(

Huntsville will be a D1 independent next year.

Yeah, he would have been better off at Norwich.

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

Depends on why he chose A-H. Did he receive scholarship money to help with his education? Did he go because he knew he would be the starter? Did he go because he wanted the prestige of playing for a D1 team and facing what he thinks would be challenging competition? Did he just want to South where it's warm? Tune in next week.

I believe UAH's #1 goalie who played virtually every minute just left early to play pro so the top spot was up for grabs. I'm sure that must have played in his decision.

I've always thought that this would be one heck of an intro:
