Marty Turco is awesome

Once he wasn't with Michigan anymore, I have liked him. I enjoyed when he was mic'd up during an all-star game and the west had the lead. After he let in a goal he commented, "I only have to let in two more and I get the win." Then he did it.

Any Philly fans on here? They appear to be going down the tubes after building up such a big lead at the top of the conference. If they lose at Buffalo (possible), they could end up blowing the division and finishing in 4th.

Considering how well the teams in 7-8-9 are playing that might not be the worst scenario.

I think the 3/6 or 4/5 matchup might be the safest one there is. I wouldn't want to play Buffalo or the Rangers right now. (even without Callahan)

Philly has also been a much better team on the road, so maybe you're on to something. Wouldn't be surprised if any of the top four in the East make it to the Finals.

My cousin bought me a ticket for tonight's game, so I'm leaving in about an hour. Going to Sam Adams BruFest before the game!

My 8th game of the year, and my record is 6-1, with a GD of +20. Hoping the trend continues!

Any series being played with the Rangers is going to physically drain the team that plays them. Playing a physical grinding team like them for at least four games is going to be exhausting. All the B's and Caps fans I know keep saying how they'd rather be 4th in the east than 1st if it means they don't have to play the Rangers.

So I guess everyone wants Tampa. :)

I do NOT want Phoenix or Nashville. Those series would likely go to six or seven. I'd be alright LA even though Quick stoned us in 3 out of 4 regular season games this year.

In the event of a shakeup in the last couple of games, I would be fine with Chicago or Anaheim. Despite the rivalry factor, the travel for a Chicago series would be easy. The Ducks don't scare me for once, as I don't think Emery is half the goalie that Hiller is.

What's the deal with Hiller? Out for the year? If that's the case I'd wanna play the Ducks.

I just saw Ducks on the melting pond up here and had a vision of the Ducks winning the Cup.

The Ducks are always such a tough out though when it comes to the playoffs.

You should punish your brain with beer for giving you such a horrible mental image. :D

Hiller seems to be done for the year. The official line is that he's suffering from fatigue and vertigo.

Hossa's "goal" tonight. Awful call. Kicking motion on a puck that didn't cross the line.

Game went from 2-0 Blues to 3-2 Blackhawks.

Wow. Prime candidate for Worst Call of the Season there, and that's not the Wings fan in me doing the talking.

Re: 2010-2011 NHL Season Part II - Concussions Are Serious Business, Savvy?

Ha, wow. The only thing I can think of is that they have an angle of him getting his stick on the puck after kicking it? Even then, there has to be more to that footage as the puck obviously didn't cross the line.

Re: 2010-2011 NHL Season Part II - Concussions Are Serious Business, Savvy?

I think it hits his stick after he kicks it, so that gets rid of the kick. Then the call on the ice was a goal, I didn't see all the replays so I don't know if they could conclusively say it didn't cross the line.

Corey Perry with 50 goals? Really? Is he that good?
