2010-11 Schedules

Re: 2010-11 Schedules

Wasn't the showcase contract terminated early? I thought we still had a scheduling hole come Thanksgiving time.
We have one more round with those two. No more scheduled trips to EL / A2 however.
Yes and add UAH as an early home opponent.

Forgive me if you've seen this, but apparently there is a pattern put in place for next season ... and it will be revisited the following year.

Alaska, Ferris State, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State will play each other 4 times.

Bowling Green, Lake Superior, Miami, Northern Michigan, Notre Dame and Western Michigan are the remaining six teams.

Of those six, the following pairs will play each other only 2 times:
Bowling Green and Western,
Lake State and Notre Dame,
Miami and Northern

Each of the six will play 4 games against each of the other teams in that group

Examples:
Michigan State will play the following number of games against the following teams:
4 x Michigan, 4 x Ohio State, 4 x Alaska, 4 x Ferris, 2 x Bowling Green, 2 x LSSU, 2 x Miami, 2 x Northern, 2 x Notre Dame, 2 x Western (28 total)

And Bowling Green will play
2 x Michigan, 2 x Michigan State, 2 x Ohio State, 2 x Alaska, 2 x Ferris, 4 x Lake State, 4 x Miami, 4 x Northern, 4 x Notre Dame and 2 x Western (28 total).

Re: 2010-11 Schedules

Does anyone have a insight on Ohio State schedule or parts of the schedule? I think Ohio State is the last team to post it on there web-site.

Nah, that's usually UAH. ;)

GFM <-- remembers that, one year under the Ross regime, UAH put the schedule out three weeks before the season started

WTG AIC! A good friend just moved to Lanesboro, Mn, so I am hopefully making it to the Minnesota State games Jan 7/8.

Wait, AIC is real???? I thought AIC was just a mythical team that coaches told players they were going to be playing for if they didn't start playing better. ;) :D
Just like Tech...

Nope, AIC is for real, you're thinking of the city of Detroit as being a mythical place that people get told they will be sent to if they don't shape up. =]

ps - you better be a fan of Greene's or I'm sending you to the corner of Joy and Wyoming. =p
