HA. What a ridiculous game. Here you go Islanders, get away with three penalties and then have a 5x3. Ridiculous.

Of course Parenteau would beat the Rangers.

Lit up the AHL for like three or four years with Hartford but could never do squat on the big club when he got called up.

Heh. I can only laugh at how awfully that game was officiated. Are the Isles going to get bailed out by the refs in all their games like they were today?

I was going berserk at the high sticking call. On replay in slo mo, you can't even see if it hits him, but if it does hits his ear. He goes right to his nose and mouth and even brings out the trainer to see if there is bleeding. He and Jeter must be hanging out.

Shots 37-8 Blues after two periods. Ducks can't do anything but live up to their reputation and goon it up. :D

Wow, Gaborik got jacked in the face a couple of times in the game, I'm shocked there wasn't any penalties called. Shocked!:rolleyes:

Hillier and lundquist killed my fantasy team. Are the ducks going to be in the celler this season?? might have to drop a few goalies.

It's possible. Niedermeyer retired and their best looking d-man so far is 18 years old.

The Ducks do not have anything resembling a defense at this point. The Blues don't put 40 shots on net very often, let alone 50+. Hiller is doing about the best he can (without him, I think the Wings would've hung a 6 or 7-spot on them), but he's not going to be able to carry them on his shoulders. Not to mention that 2 goals in three games is a pretty severe offensive drought in this era of the NHL.

Ugly hit by Hlajfdalmerson on Pominville. Pominville wheeled off the ice after being tended to for a while.
