2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Bull****! Bull****! Bull****!

Mauer should have had a double and then scored. That missed call is not acceptable in extra innings of a playoff game.

Absolutely pathetic. I can't stand being a Twins fan. Its so tough.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Why were Young and Gogo swinging at the first pitch...my god take a friggin pitch for once in your life...

Nathan is no longer a big game pitcher...he has been brutal since the all star break. (he lucked out on Tuesday)

How do you blow bases loaded and no outs? Forget the Mauer call the Twins should have accidentally gotten a run there there is no excuse for that :( (the Mauer call was horrible but come on bases loaded no outs...that is terrible)

Come on guys wake the frick up!

Yeah, but we had our chances. That one is on the Twins, not the ump. You can't assume that the rest of the inning would have gone the same way.

I'm cheering for the Yankees to hit a HR this half inning so I don't have to wait any longer for the Twins to choke it away.

15 LOB? really?

Delmon has at least been hitting lately, but why was Gomez batting with the bases loaded and the season on the line?

Game off.

Game. Set. Match.

Series is over.

This team cannot play the Yankees. Just forget it.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

On the up side, MLB will send them a nice apology letter for the missed call.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Seriously...there is no excuse for how that played out...all you need to do is hit into the double play with no outs and the Twins take the lead...but no they cant do that...

Gardy wanted the game to end that was why he let Mijares pitch to Tex.

This team needs a lot of work in the offseason...A LOT!
