Never thought we'd be here at game #162.

So, when comparing monumental choke jobs which is more monumental: Tigers 2006 or Tigers 2009?

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

2006 they were already in the playoffs. So this is more monumental.

Exactly. And once a team is in the playoffs (like the Twins in '87), you can't put a lot of stock in how they perform once winning that day's game is no longer first and foremost.

I never thought that game #162 would matter this year. Now all the Twins have to do is win their final game in 2009 -- whenever that is -- and we'll all be happy. ;)

I'm not real confident about Pavano going instead of Duensing today.

Either Pavano needs a short leash (2 runs), or the Twins need to come out of the gate strong like they did on Friday (10-0 lead).

Well given you make Scooby look optimistic that's not surprising. ;) As long as Gardy keeps him on a short leash I'm not against the start.

Obviously you are joking, because no one is at Scooby's level.

Good luck guys. Hope you can win this game, if only to have one more game at the Dome. :)

The good thing is that Duensing has more experience coming out of the bullpen. This could be a committee game today. Maybe 3 innings for Carl and 3 innings for Brian.

Well it looks like the White Sox have run out of gas on us. I guess we have to take care of it on our own today.
