Re: 2009-2010 NHL Season Part 3: After The Gold Rush

So you picked the Celtics when they were the best franchise ever and then tried to backtrack...sigh.

whatever. philly hated them, that was good enough for me.

whether or not you started following a team when you were 7 is irrelevant when you finally move to the city where they play and their draft pick dies from cocaine and they begin a 20 yr stretch of curses. if i then switched to the bulls or lakers that would be one thing. at least i'm consistent.

cooke is gonna kick Z ***** in the 3rd! go pens!!!

Rimbaud, DL I am rusty on my Pokemon references, but when Cooke turtles in the third, unless his mother was a Squirtle, he can't hurt Z when he's in a shell.

Wade Redden makes himself momentarily less useless by tying things up between NYR and STL. 10:00 to go in regulation.

EDIT: Paul Kariya has answered for STL. 4-3 Blues, 8 to play.

Well Redden deflected in the Blues' third goal so he's basically scored for each team.

If you're a Habs fan, it's been a good night.

Bruins, Rangers and Senators all lose. Philadelphia is losing, but there are still 2 periods left there. But a Dallas win would be a great 4-game parlay!

Typical Bruins. Decent year, good year, crappier year, miss the playoffs. Rinse wash repeat. Someone please release Matt Cooke in the Jacobs household.

I just remembered, this is what I actually wanted to post this afternoon when the Wiz suspension was announced:

James Wisniewski is getting married this summer.

According to the CSN broadcast, Brent Seabrook is not only invited, he's supposed to be IN THE WEDDING.

Awkwarrrrrrd.

Why do I keep leaving Nabokov in for my fantasy team? Apparently the Olympics ruined him.

Save for one playoff run, he is almost as big of a choker as the team in front of him. He isn't getting any younger either.
