Bah. I don't like split-period power plays. Better than the alternative, I guess.

OK, so were all the Bruins fans here out watching the game at a bar or something??? I asked for updates dammit. Thanks for nuthin! I was trying to follow the game on Boston.com on their Bruins blog. Not sure what Michael Vega was doing during the game or if he left early or what but he had only two posts during the second period, the last one was when the B's went on a pwer play and then nothing till the end of the period. Then I think something happened as the game clock link thingie on the home page never moved from 20:00/3rd period. I had to try and find out the progress of the third elsewhere.

On Monday you guys better be chatty on here. I'll be at a work event and have no access to a tv, just my Blackberry, so I want updates. Lots and lots of updates.

The Red Sox were playing the Os (chance of win = good),
The Celtics were stepping on the Heat's throat,
The Patriots were busy drafting Gators,
and the Bruins were having an off-night.

Yes, I know. As I posted, I was AT the Sox game. That's why I needed Bruins updates.

Dear Ilya Briwhateverov

Stop banging the post with your stick every time your Coyotes break the puck out. VS. still isnt good at working with crowd noise and other noise.

Well, that period finally ended. Not a good 2nd for Detroit. No possession at all. Hopefully the 3rd goes better.

OK Detroit, time to support Howard's effort here. Two nice saves on that breakaway.

Sometimes, the Red Wings look like a veteran team. Tonight, they just look a little old. :o

This game has slowed down a lot.

Agree on the "looking old" thing. Bertuzzi in particular looks like he's hardly moving his feet out there.
