2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Potsdam and Geneseo are tied 1-1 after one.

Geneseo scored first. I missed that as I missed the beginning of the game. Viola tied it up on a breakaway with a super move very late in the period.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

With my brother and the rest of the Yale Bulldogs taking a breather until tomorrow, I have had the chance to watch some Fredonia hockey. What a mess.

5 goals at home in their biggest game of the season (Pink the Rink) against Cortland and the best they can do is a tie? Geesh. Has anyone overstayed their welcome more than Meredith?

I don't even want to think about what is going on in Elmira. When I was at the domes every weekend I dreamed of the day Fredonia could even skate with them. Even when Zeman got 2 SHG in front of the Corner Crew and we stunned RIT I knew it was a fluke. Then a fluke SUNYAC Championship in 07 despite losing Zeman for his senior year do to lack of program control (Get your best player ever through State College it can't be that hard).

Anyway, 1-9-1 on the road is sad. The lack of goal scoring is brutal. Losing good Buffalo born players to Buff St is hideous.

Just venting...

Call him Moose, Muise, mew-sssss - but call him a goal scorer...2-1 Oz his 20th career goal

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Neumann scores on the PP to take the lead 1-0 about 5 minutes into the second....

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Pretty dirty goal by 29 of Fredonia to make it 2-2. Oswego was kind enough to kind of get out of the way and watch him.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Oswego needs to take these guys out of the game soon or they are going to be in trouble.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Can't let Freddy stay with Oz. They get the cheap-o goals all the time. If the Lakers can get up two, it's lights out because it forces the Devs to play something other than 1995 New Jersey Devils system.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Right Mountie. Someone other than Muise and Brown needs to make something happen offensively.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Ware puts Potsdam ahead of Geneseo, 2-1, on a two-on-one with 7:35 left in the second.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Hobart ties it up on the PP

Hobart 1
Neumann 1

about 7 left to go in the 2nd period

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

I don't know why, but I hate Fredonia much more than Plattsburgh. I guess it's because of the cheap wins Freddy gets all the time against Oz. I once used the line "Doctors prescribe Fredonia games to cure insomnia." :D At least Platty has talented guys that beat us on their merit and not some BS system.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Oswego is mind numbingly inconsistent. They should be all over these guys and only one line has shown any jump at all.

Re: 2/9/13 Skating away on the thin ice of a new day! SCORES!!

Gertsakis scores with 5 ticks remaining to give the Lakers their 3rd ppg....and that's the period 3-2 Lakers
