Elise Stefanik considering running for Governor of NY in 2026. Perhaps the only female politician in NY that’s less popular than Kathy Hochul.
 
Just watched a video of Angus King interviewed by Heather Cox Richardson. Not sure who she is but maybe you political junkies do. He seemed pretty fired up and disgusted with Congress but also realized Dems don't have the votes. He was optimistic that the tide may be turning but I don't see it. He claims to be working on some Repubs trying to get them to break off but also understands Musk can primary anyone. Not sure what its going to take to break up this mess but it better happen soon was his over all take. It was supposed to be an interview about Paul Revers ride that went far of course.
 
King just another one treating this like it's just normal political disagreement.

Republicans didn't have the votes during Obama or Biden, but that didn't stop them from gumming up the works anyway.

King sucks. They don't have the votes cause clowns like him are spineless.

Heather Cox Richardson (imho) does a great job. A good follow on social media.
 
Mike Rogers (lost to Slotkin last Nov), is already running ads for his Senate campaign that he just announced this week. The primaries aren't even for another 16 months.
 
So far I see no one the Dems are saying will run against Collins who will beat her. Betsy Sweet might be the front runner and have decent name recognition. She might do well in 1st district but 2nd, no way. OF course the 2nd is a lost cause no matter who the dems run?
