Very useful to the patrician donor class, for whom the Senate exists. The rabble-rousers in the House have to be reeled in, lest the sheeple who elect them become self-conscious enough to realize it's all about class, not culture, and they've been getting bent over for decades.

This is going to be the line of demarcation moving forward. Not Red/Blue.

It's just going to depend on how deep racism/bigotry is with individuals as to whether they stay in line with MAGA, directly against their own (financial) interests.
 
It's not class either. It's brain cells and empathy.

As high a percentage of the Poors are just as big a problem. AOC is correct that we face an oligarchy, but she has yet to escape the 19th century brain worm that the common person will save us. The median common person is as stupid and vicious a monster as the median rich person.

We need uncommon people. We need an alliance of the smart and the kind; their other characteristics are irrelevant. The rest can ride along but they don't ever get behind the wheel again. They're incompetent or sociopathic, regardless of class, color, gender or whatnot.

I wish no ill will on him...I hope he gets better. He should have never been pushed as Ranking Member in his condition especially when it was AOC he was pushing out.
 
I think part (most) of it was his district is NoVa, where there is a metric ton of money and power. They were not pandering to him, but to his Rolodex.

Well to be fair, if I'm Dump, I just have a few House Dems visiting El Salvador become permanent guests. No one's stopped him yet. They're not going to find their balls now.
