I doubt this is anything more than a Republican witch hunt, given that the House GQP promised lots of retaliatory investigations into Biden and his cabinet members. Plus I would imagine that Granholm's international trips are primarily for the purpose of discussing climate change and green energy with foreign powers. All the more reason for the party of obstructionism and science denialism to drag her in and waste her time, just like they did to Hillary with BENGHAZI!1!!11!! I think the E&C chair has the Hanford site in her district, so she will be trying to make a big fuss about Granholm "deprioritizing" her visit to a domestic cleanup site to jetset on the gubmint dime and attend expensive dinners with global elites to discuss the climate change "hoax".

Puerto Rico known for its excellent energy grid which definitely doesn't require federal oversight and observations at the highest levels in the department of energy.

Obviously. If a Republican makes an accusation (1) it's 98% likely to be false and (2) start investigating that Republican for the behavior they are decrying.

Way way beyond time to start becoming publicly vocal. We can't let this dinosaur slow us down. Every single democrat should have moved from polite suggestions to demanding she resign immediately.

she's costing us time. The party leaders of the next generation need to step up the pressure by an order of magnitude.

If you find the slightest fault with any Democratic woman or POC on Daily Kos, the users will burn you alive. So if these are Dems saying she's earned the right to stay or it is sexist or agist to demand she step down, I fully believe these are real Dems. They're just idiots.

There is an enormous contingent of dinosaur Dems from the Hillary Clinton wing (and vintage) who will never understand that people under 40 are well beyond the taboos and shibboleths they internalized in the 1980s. My generation of Liberals are almost entirely clueless about everything, but they are also the most virulent when it comes to facile, college sophomore understanding of race and feminism. Old conservatives aren't the only ones who have to go.

Yeah, but did he really? It's not like RBG would have resigned anyway. The arrogance of these old people in office is off the fucking charts. Constantly. They're not indispensable. Yet, that's their thinking.

Feinstein should have resigned as soon as she got ill. She's too old to be in there anyway. Instead she's taking a torch to the only power Democrats have right now.
