Today is the day the Census Bureau releases its topline numbers, which will set the stage for the next decade of gerrymandering for Congress, but still mostly under GOP control.

Should be interesting in Minnesota, as the state is likely to lose a rep.

MI was expected to lose one and did. Interesting to see MT gained one. AZ was very close and missed out - I wonder if they will end up gaining two seats after 2030.

Manchin must not like being out "d-bagged" by Sinema. That is the only explanation for why he keeps saying this crap out loud. We get it, you are a fucknut who doesn't live in the real world...go work in a mine and shut the fuck up already.

He can’t help it, he’s a West Virginian idiot himself.

He's doing what his constituency of Morlocks wants. Can't blame him and I for one would rather any D than any R. We have committee chairs because of that imbecile; in all honesty he doesn't owe us anything else.

Would it be nice to live in a world where a large majority of the population had functioning brains? Yes. Do we? No. So you get the best Congress your sad sack population can produce, and right now this is ours. Who knows? The dumbas-ses may COVID themselves down to size.

yeah, I don't blame Manchin. He is who he is, and it's the best we're going to get from WV.

I blame my fellow Mainers. Manchin would matter less if we had sent Suzie packing.

Is Maine going the way of Ohio? I'd have thought by now it was all Mas-sholes who split, like NH. Then again, the Mas-sholes I knew who moved to NH were all racists.

Fuck off manchin . like your colleagues would ever let division stop them from ****ting all over people

Soooo, making it easy for people to exercise their Constitutional right to vote for the candidate of their choice is partisan?

I mean, all these newly automatically registered, standing in short voter lines, or able to drop an envelope into a box, can vote Republican, or even Green Party if they choose, correct?

All this wouldn't be necessary if they counted as a 3/5 vote as they were supposed to.
