It wasnt all that long ago that people who hated everything Milo stood for would still lowkey defend him because he was in the Alphabet. If you have ever seen the look on someone's face when they realize the people they are defending have just as evil thoughts as everyone else you have felt true joy!

And again, this is not to disparage anyone...in fact it is the ultimate for of equality. The way we infantilize and deify groups sometimes does way more harm than good. People are people...and people can suck! White, Black, Brown, Xtian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Latino/a, Asian, Alphabet, Hetero, Male, Female, Non-binary...we all suck somehow! :^D

And yet, Blazing Saddles is still hilarious.

Yes. Comedians get a pass, from most of us. Some people are humorless jerks and they insist upon solemnity, but that's like thoughts and prayers: an empty gesture. Richard Pryor did more to fight racism than every censor in history.

Rub it in the bigots' faces -- that's the way to show their callousness. Don't tiptoe; be, dare I say, confrontational.

Meh...I have worked enough HRC events to know Chappelle is right...the reason people got outraged was because he was right which means that not everyone who is in the Alphabet is a friggin saint. Remember they also went nuts because he told a joke about Michael Jackson and Macaulay Culkin. (hell I was shamed on here for finding the joke funny)

I mean it isnt like it isn't known...Kevin Smith kind of wrote it into Chasing Amy.

Different subsections of all groups dislike each other. Cause you know...human.

Of course he's right, and that's why his bit was good. It was a send up of TERFs and it was vicious and on point. Every oppressed group knows some of the worst people operate within the group, parsing as if you could deny some rights and fight for others.

It's all one big ball of yarn. Let the bigots pull a little and it all unravels.

Now we gotta censure you.

Yeah he got a pass for a while for being Gay and for helping out Snowden but he is just a Wikileaks disciple who is an awful human.

Wikileaks in general has been tarnished. We don't know whether they were just a Russian dupe or whether they were actually witting, but either way it's hardly a good look.

Anonymous is still cool, though. And my god they are fucking Q in the ear. Hey, you fat tards... meet some real insurgents.

I can't be canceled if nobody gives a sh-t about me in the first place!

That was such a cool part of the HBO Doc...I knew Anonymous was against CodeMonkeyZ but I had no idea how much they hated him. I also never realized how guilty that guy felt about GamerGate which was the precursor to all of this.

I only got about two episodes into that series before pulling the plug. They traded honest for access and gave these monsters a free platform to blather on about how innocent they are. I was disgusted.

Oh no...they full on mock and ridicule the pleas of innocence by the end of it. The guy who made the doc obviously has no real like of the Watkins and probably would hate Fred too if he wasn't in a wheelchair and at war with Q and the Watkinses.

Remember that this guy started this doc back in 2018 (I think) LONG before Q became what it is today. The mood of the doc changes as Q becomes a phenomenon and not some cutesy little conspiracy theory that nerds talk about on 8chan. And if he hadn't let them "tell their story" at the beginning it would not have been so blatantly obvious what was going on at the end.

A lot of it I already knew but I didn't realize how easy it would be to prove what people on Twitter had been saying for like a year before the Insurrection. I mean you can literally pinpoint the day CodeMonkeyZ steals "Q" and turns it into his big psy-op game to pump up his message board. That is like Mscavige taking over Scientology...it went from a creepy little fake religion cult to being the nutso factory it is today.

YMMV.

The House passed the bill on DC Statehood. Zero chance it passes the Senate but hey I bet it chaps the hides of quite a few GOPers ;^)

Not even sure if it passes without the filibuster. Manchin and Sinema may not like them that enemy gubmint types getting their own Senators.

Sinema tweeted about Earth Day and got dragged because she voted against the Green New Deal. She is truly hated on the level of most GOPers.
