UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Honestly surprised they got more than 1 tonight, and hey! We finally got a SHG!

Defense looks like they never left Durham. Gonna need a miracle in the 3rd to get back in this…

Someone should have their card access revoked upon arrival back on campus…
Making it way to easy for NU..not to take anything away from them they are playing heads up hockey..we look almost disconnected?
Bummer as knowing that this would be one game they could win...🙄

…And that’s a wrap. If you’d have told me UNH scored 3 goals tonight I’d have thought they would be advancing. Didn’t see 7 goals coming from the huskies.

What a disappointing end to a disappointing season. There were certainly some “highs” (opening weekend win at MSU, sweep at Maine, giving Dartmouth their first loss) but WAY to many terrible losses. Tonight brings us to 20. Remember when we used to have 20 in the W column?

AD Rich - PLEASE consider moving on from your current mens hockey HC. This has been plain sad for all but one year in his tenure. And that ONE good year he got absolutely slammed in the quarterfinals by those guys up north…

It’s been a pleasure posting with all you great people this season. Certainly helps to keep the spirits up when you aren’t winning much.

Hopefully big decisions to come soon… and keeping an eye on portal rumors.

Did we just watch MS7s last game at the helm?

How many years left on Souza’s contract? One? Fire him, have an interim season, clean house in the following offseason and bring in a whole new coaching staff. 23 year HEA tile drought, 12 year NCAA appearance drought… How much worse can it get?

The seniors will be missed! Winters a great Captain. Young core… we shall see.

Go ‘Cats.

Appreciated all of your thoughtful posts! Here's hoping we don't lose too many key players...UNH has a decision to make...
Thank you Seniors!!!!

IIRC someone posted a table on here earlier today showing UNH was either oldest or next to oldest team in Hockey East this season.

Just because 21 year old Canadians are "freshman" players doesn't mean they're young ... it means they're out of paying pro options, time to get a degree for free.

Hopefully. He seemed curiously unstressed tonight. That could go either way, but I'm pulling for a self-aware resignation with a comfy landing spot elsewhere.
I saw that as well. Especially right after the 2 ENGs… Winters looked visibly frustrated but not his coach.

Part of me thinks it may be he has assurance he is coming back. How else can you show no emotion in that situation?

Saw on social media some are calling for an announcement tomorrow. I can’t see it happening THAT fast. If they decide to move on from I would give it up to a week to 10 days, as that allows for an end of season meeting with the AD (I.e., performance evaluation) over the next few days.

You guys deserve better. Lots of passionate, knowledgeable fans who are dying for a winner. This is the most active thread on the Forum (and that would probably be the case even if you culled out all the "poster on poster" nonsense). Obviously, there needs to be a lot of changes in the off season.
Aww thanks and best wishes going forward in the HE tourney. Yep its been too long for UNH hockey to be relevant.
Somethings gotta give but I just dont know...nothing seems to change.
