If you move UMD to avoid ECAC vs ECAC on Thursday, you set up possible WCHA vs WCHA on Saturday. If you leave it alone, you guarantee ECAC vs WCHA on Saturday.

I think they prioritize no interconference matchups in the first over possible matchups in the second though right?

The don’t care about 2nd round… it’s the Thursday matchups that they worry about

So those of us who don't want the Badgers to have to face Gascon any more this season are rooting for Mercyhurst? I thought at one point a Mercyhurst win would also put Pedophile State on the road for the first part of the tournament but I guess that is no longer the case.

In the current climate, I'm not in favor of using the term "Pedophile" in jest. You can have your plays on words for various teams, but I think this is going too far and made me cringe.
