ABC News reporting 1,500 active duty soldiers are on standby to deploy to MINNESOTA.

The soldiers are from the 11th Airborne Division, based at Joint Base Elmendorf--Richardson, one of the Army's premier infantry formations.

The division is also the military's leading formation for Arctic warfare

The alternate reality on Fox News, Facebook, etc. is stronger than ever. Doubling, Tripling, Quadrupling down.

Democrats need to fight and stop equivocating, and capitulating. I'm not seeing what I am seeing on Fox on the other channels being counterbalanced at all.
 
I was at Taliesin West today (photos later) and met a nice young couple in from Minneapolis. They told me about their experience with all the shit there. They were traumatized. I tried to reassure them that there are plenty of us out here who know what is happening and don't swallow the propaganda, and they said they hoped I was right but were dubious.

They meet a lot of people who when they say they are from MN launch into invective against "Somalis and Antifa and paid agitators." They spend all their time out here counter-programming the Fox viewers in their family.

EU member states have held off imposing immediate retaliatory trade measures against the United States, including the use of the EU's toughest response weapon, known as the Anti Coercion Instrument (ACI), according to an EU diplomat.

The decision not to use the ACI, or to immediately reinstate some €93 billion in retaliatory tariffs against the Trump administration, which were suspended last summer to allow for the completion of the EU-US trade deal, was taken during an emergency meeting of EU ambassadors in Brussels.

"At present, there is no question of deploying the ACI or any other trade instrument against the US," said the diplomat.

"The EU's €93 billion in rebalancing measures have been suspended until 6 February.

"The EU will only decide after 1 February whether to extend that suspension."

"Everyone knows that Trump has an unconventional negotiating style. Nobody but the most hysterical partisan leftist could believe that Trump would actually send armed forces in to take over Greenland. This is just all pretext for negotiating the most favorable deal possible for the benefit and future prosperity of the greatest country in the world, the United States of America.

Many presidents in our past have made deals to acquire territory, or secure vital resources that we need as a country to continue our unprecedented status as the world's greatest benevolent superpower. Trump is just continuing in the footsteps of those other great leaders"

Six more paragraphs of 'non-partisan, unbiased, down to earth political realism that no reasonable person could disagree with' swill to follow.
