Honestly, Renee could have been the biggest piece of shit on the planet…and she still didn’t deserve to be shot, much less denied medical care afterwards, in this particular situation. I know you know this.
I mean, what we’re up against are people who think George Floyd going 9 minutes without oxygen was a mere footnote in his fentanyl overdose death, no doubt the simple result of being a piece of shit convict his whole life.

Who the fuck is going to drop the hammer on the right? How many years have we known this is EXACTLY where we were headed and yet here we are, headed exactly where we knew we were headed? The only thing they know is hate, bullying, and violence. But let's keep our fingers crossed and hope we finally elect the right group of people. Too many of us (our side) STILL adhere to the Michelle Obama adage of "when they go low, we go high." What does that get us? ICE agents murdering people with impunity. A president who celebrates the murder and tells lies about the victim. A mainstream media that does nothing but take the cowardly path of least resistance.

But what do I know? I'm just a straight, white, middle-class, educated male, who is past his middle age and well past his prime. I do know that it's long past time for the left to get a whole lot more organized. And to start really fucking fighting back.

I happened to be working from home today, thankfully, but the ICE murder that happened today is just under 3 miles from my office building.

Around noon, those people working in the office were told they could/should go home to work for the remainder of the day if they had a safe way to get home.

must return to office and be in the office. you might be surrounded by feds on the way, and given conflicting information and shot in the face, but that's just the risk you have to take.

The global fasc are creating the largest and most powerful alliance in human history against them. It wasn't locals who made Dresden into the South Bronx.

We're about to be this century's Cautionary Tale, replacing the 20thC Krauts who displaced the 19thCFrogs who displaced... I dunno actually? We're going down as the threat to humanity and the humans are going to curb stomp us.
 
In case it needs mentioned, perhaps repeated, ICE killed a woman who has a 6yo daughter. That daughter’s father died a few years ago, and now her mother was slaughtered by her own government. She’s likely going to be raised by her grandparents, only learning about, or being reminded of, her parents through stories.
