We need an amendment giving people a share of the money corporations make selling our personal information.

The fact that they are even saying this within hours of it happening means they know they fucked up hard. Means nothing except to those of us that read between the lines.

Does the media care? Will they in 24 hours. While MPR (Minnesota Public Radio) is talking about it I heard NPR was mostly just circulating the DHS statement in the aftermath.

I mean the timing of all this to the argument being had yesterday is pretty hilarious.

BTW I brought it up to my SO...and she flat out said modern humans are no more evolved than previous versions and seemed to imply our barbarism is worse because of our knowledge and lack of need for it. And remember, this is a woman who doesn't believe in the existence of evil. (and unlike some she doesn't just think it is an aspect of Right Wing nonsense because she spent much of college studying genocides and such. (she has an Urban Ed degree)

But that is immaterial to what is happening...we will know about the nature of modern man when we see how society deals with this.
