Have never seen it. I will have to try it out. Thank you.The Wrong Man on TCM at 6. My favorite Hitchcock movie and Vera Miles is icing on the cake. I'd seen it a coupla times before, but just found out it's based on a true story.
LOL. Very true. See, you can be funny when you're not being a dick. Much like me, TBH.I saw Stargate in the theater...great cast and a very cool premise. If it came out today half the country would believe it is real.
My wife points this out to me often, but I still haven't changed my behavior and she still hasn't filed divorce papers, so...See, you can be funny when you're not being a dick.
I've never watched it but I think I should start. I am going to have a hard time getting into it without James Spader and Kurt Russell, though. The movie is good, but God do i enjoy SG1 the TV series more even if it's camper and not as "good" artistically. It's more fun and the actual world building that goes on over the years is superb.
Stargate was one of the first movies my wife and I realized we both loved as we were getting to know each other. Fun facts that you didn't ask for:
1st movie we ever saw in a theater together (1996 in Bahrain) - Spy Hard
2nd movie we ever saw in a theater together (1996 in Bangkok) - Twister
For the first season the guy playing Daniel does a pretty solid impression of Spader...but it gets phased out. Richard Dean Anderson is Jack O'Neill.I've never watched it but I think I should start. I am going to have a hard time getting into it without James Spader and Kurt Russell, though.
I always think at the beginning when the dead kid's photo is shown wearing the Mets uni, "What's the tragedy? He just saved himself a lifetime of suffering."

I have no idea what the first movie Dr. Mrs. & I saw together was. Probably something for an 8-year old girl. What did Disney release in Fall 99?
Oh! It was Mystery, Alaska.
Finally watched children of men now that it’s on prime
Really a mood lifter that one
Don’t disagree with any of this1. Great idea, beautifully filmed.
2. Poorly written, poorly acted.
3. Really dumb ending.
Somebody should do it right. It's a great idea.
The urban firefight scene is unbelievably brutal. Watch that and feel like a Gazan.
About...?The Unknown Number documentary on Netflix was really good. It’s a documentary, but just long enough to hold my attention.
I do think “pull my finger” was a pretty epic way to go, esp for someone as cool as Michael caine1. Great idea, beautifully filmed.
