Ridiculous to do that to your teammates three weeks before classes start. Now coach has to find another goalie.Kyle Curtin entered the transfer portal on 7/28
did they bring in another goalie ,and thats the reason he left???Ridiculous to do that to your teammates three weeks before classes start. Now coach has to find another goalie.
I don’t think so. Brody’s numbers were almost identical (GAA and Save %) but maybe he wanted more minutes.did they bring in another goalie ,and thats the reason he left???
Part of it is they lost their goalie so late, they never had time to replace him.3-10. Wow. This is sad. I don’t ever recall an EC team with this bad of a record.
The 23-24 team was so strong, but when you don’t have the aid to provide, you struggle.
Losing Kyle Curtin to Utica really hurt and Brody Haynes GAA stats are up from last year, so you can give some blame to Utica for this. As a Hobart alum, I always respected the Elmira program,(our incredible Coach Taylor is an alum of Elmira) but I'm thinking financial stress is also hitting the budget of the Elmira Hockey program, as it is to so many smaller colleges in the Northeast.Part of it is they lost their goalie so late, they never had time to replace him.
100 percent. Look at the Elmira women...they are also a couple steps behind where they have been and even when the men's program had ups and downs, they were still very consistently a top 10 or even top 5 team throughout.Losing Kyle Curtin to Utica really hurt and Brody Haynes GAA stats are up from last year, so you can give some blame to Utica for this.
