It’s real frustrating seeing the Europeans (and Americans who only watch Euro soccer aka Eurosnobs) blaming the low attendance on “Americans not having a soccer culture” when the answer to why attendance is terrible is largely because of Dump and his ICE cronies.

(There are other factors like price gouging and dumb start times but those could be overcome)

I'm old enough to remember when it used to take months or even years for a ginned up WMD claim to fall apart. Now it collapses in days. What a credit to the amazing information systems we've built. Kudos all around...

Even in sports we barely watch...we love a big event. More people show up to those lame outdoor hockey games than actually watch regularly.

It seems like § 90107 of the HSGAC reconciliation text takes the unitary executive theory to its most extreme. It would allow the White House to abolish independent agencies and combine their functions into other agencies. It could even allow for the creation of one giant agency. 1/

It’s things like this that make me firmly believe the country is going to split. You just can’t repair damage like this in our political system.

Originally he was arrest for "obstructing" because he asked for a warrant and refused to let go of the person he was escorting.

BTW I see no badges on a lot of these officers.
 
I wonder if cancelling the midterm elections would be enough to get Americans off their asses? Because you better believe something akin to it will be happening. In a few years there are gonna be a whole lot fewer people here. If the first civil war is a guide the next one should take out about 8.5 million of us.

If it's possible I think the republicans of 2025 are worse than politicians whose actions 165-170 years ago led directly to the civil war.
