They’re also apparently on 29 day deployments so they don’t have to pay them active duty rates if they did 30 days.
 
As I understand it the riots after the Lakers won the title the last time were worse and the LA Police handled it just fine. Trump is running his reality show BS again and people are eating it up.

This country is shit.

Yes, I recognize the tone, but…

Prior to her election in 2018, MN-2 had been controlled by Republicans since its current configuration had been set. While the nominative incumbent, Bill Luther (DFL) won in 2000 and then lost the seat to John Kline in 2002, a very conservative former Marine. Craig ended that streak after Jason Lewis was exposed as a GOP (Trump) lemming/lackey. With exception to this past election, she’s been winning on narrow margins. Her support from law enforcement agencies’ various unions has been crucial to maintaining her seat.

Yes I know. She is also eying a run to fill Tina Smith's seat supposedly...and she can phuck all the way off on that one.

You can support law enforcement without kissing up to fascism. And last I checked MN-2 is nowhere near the Mexican Border so sucking off ICE is just unneeded.

Shri just sucks. He is a transparent opportunist who will do and say anything he thinks will keep him in office.

Haley was an Obama acolyte and I assume she's been having too much tea with Elissa for several years now. They presumably bond over their shared knee-jerk defense of anything Israel does and love for all things CIA and law enforcement.

No, I don’t want her as a senator. We already have the feckless Klobuchar in office, I’d rather another in the way of Franken or even Mondale (his tax hike promises cost him dearly in 84, though his record is mixed prior to that).
 
Klobuchar is just so disappointing...my parents used to have signs for her in local elections going back to the 90s. My dad used to run into her dad all the time and talk sports. She wasn't always this weak willed but since she became one of the Centrist Picks (especially chodes like Bill Maher) for President she has fallen off the map. I think the (correct) reports of her behavior behind the scenes shifted her persona publicly. she was better when she treated people like dirt cause she doesn't deal with pressure the right way. (I have seen it myself)

I never thought I would be happier with Tina Smith than Amy...but Smith has no qualms with calling a spade a spade. Even better now that she is retiring. I want Flanigan to get the DFL spot...I think she is fantastic.

Interesting theory. Would fit Minnesota luck that franken gets run out for something that elevates republicans, and Amy’s “horrible behavior” ruined her when she was made to be a monster for stuff that again, an R would be celebrated for. Given the sources I have inside her office, nothing was ever as bad as it was blown up to be imho but I’m sure someone will come along and tell me she’s the devil
