I can tell you that when she was involved where I worked, she was beyond a diva. I didn't mind but it is pretty hilarious when she has her staff come and yell at us because she needs pure silence while giving a speech at the Human Rights Council ;) Those flunkies always looked like they need a drink or 4 :p

It wasn't worth the grief she got...and yeah if she was a man no one would have cared at all. She never would have survived the primaries though she isn't fast enough on her feet when challenged. Now her style (working with her friends across the aisle) is so out of favor I am not even sure the Centrists would be able to make it work. She was better when she was more progressive.

Wait until she hears how little CNN cared about it. They were openly praising how professional and calm the cops and NG were being from what I heard.

36 years ago a (sadly divided) Supreme Court ruled that burning an American flag was protected political speech, and laws prohibiting it were unconstitutional. A decade ago I would have said it's settled law because back then our institutions were more likely to hold. Now? Not a chance in Hell, seeing as how we have but one branch of the federal government.

Think how much harm trump has done to our democracy in just a few months and then think how much good democrats could have done, knowing we were going to face this. The only upside to the worst of the worst happening to our country is knowing there will be a lot of democratic politicians swinging from gallows all over the place. Most of them deserve it due to their cowardice.

I keep saying the military won't protect us...though before at least I believed they would be conflicted. I think anyone who is conflicted is no longer there.
 
I dont think the SC will overturn Texas v. Johnson if it gets challenged. I dont think the Executive Branch will care though so its all moot.

I wouldn't read too much into a highly selective crowd being forced to cheer a higher ranked person.
