Wisconsin Badger 2025 Offseason

Former Badger Brady Cleveland of Colorado College entered the Portal. Similar to Whitelaw, he’s seeking his third NCAA program in 3 years.

Do you think Whitelaw got $$$ from UM? If yes, there's no way he's going to WM with nothing more than a "scholarship" in his hip pocket.

Not sure about NIL going forward but I've seen the story on several different new outlets:

Sawyer Scholl has entered the portal. Not really a huge loss, but thought he was solid this season as a 4th line center.

Also Luke Osburn was just named USHL Defenseman of the year. Should be a solid addition to the D corps for next season, I would imagine he'll get a chance to start over Phelan and Knox, but who knows.

It's odd that he just participated in the the kids events at the McClain Center on Saturday with some other players, in their jerseys.

Maybe not his decision. And they still need 1-2 more either portalling or freshman delayed (ie not coming). Milewski seems to indicate one more. But I think 2 by my count.

I'm not an expert on the rules and house settlement stuff going on, but this tweet from Mike McMahon makes it seem like the roster limits aren't a sure thing yet. Regardless I don't see the team expanding to 27 or 28 guys when they've previously been sitting at 26 even.
